[Solved]MFSX shuts down - LeoBib81 - 06-11-2019

Hello. When I use MFSX with FSP, then with a frequent transition to the bar menu of the simulator, a crash occurs. Below I enclose a printscreen from the event registry.
Please help me.

Hello Leo, this should have been posted in the FsP Support forum since it shows the FsP .dll as the faulting module. However, I will go ahead and attempt to answer this as well as I can before I move the thread over to Support.

Firstly, it can be a bad idea to install FSX in the (x86) directory due to protection issues that can occur. Some people have no issues with it but many do. The exception code I see reveals the issue. I would advise to re-install this way...C:\FSX. Of course it's up to you about completely uninstalling FSX and re-install. If you had a separate drive to install FSX on, that would be ideal.

By the way, do you have UAC turned off and do you have the correct uiautomationcore.dll in the main FSX folder?

Hello. Thanks for your reply. The simulator works fine without crashing if you do not leave the cockpit and be minimally active when working with the bar menu. I will not reinstall MFS yet, as this is a very difficult task (I have ORBX and many other helper addons installed, Ezdok, UTL, GSX, PRO-ATC-X, FSCommander  Etc...). In addition, I usually fly only in the cockpit.
I use FSP only in my career when flying TU-154B2. This is enough for me.
Please tell me, can I disable FSP in the simulator when I do not use it, so as not to create the possibility of error and crash?

As for UAC, I did not understand you. I made a print screen for you, where the properties of this file are indicated. I run fsx.exe in compatibility mode with Windows 7, because I have Windows 10 installed. Maybe that's why the program excludes this file?

Sorry,
But I can’t send Printscreen here. Maybe I will send you an email?

RE: MFSX shuts down - Joeflyer - 07-11-2019

Ok, I still use Windows 7 and don't have much experience with Windows 10...especially in relation to flight simulation. But, the UAC control is still in Win 10. This provides security protection for your pc. Sometimes it can block certain programs. Let's try shutting this off first: and reboot your pc afterwards:

https://winaero.com/blog/how-to-turn-off-and-disable-uac-in-windows-10/

Also, please look for the uiautomationcore.dll in your main FSX folder. If the .dll is not in the folder, that could be part of the crashing problem as well. Let's try turning off UAC first and attempt another FsP flight. If you get another crash please let me know. Then I can direct you to a place where you can download the .dll file and place it in the main FSX folder.

I will point you to the information about the .dll:

   Hello, Joeflyer.

1. I disabled UAC in the second way, in the registry and reboot my computer.
2. I checked and made sure that the uiautomationcore.dll file is located in the folder with the simulator.
3. Tested MFSX with FSP on crash. Flight UHHH - UHMM, time 2.5 hours. During the flight, he actively used the menu and change of views. There were no MFSX crashes during the flight.

I will test for a few more days. If the crash will, I write.

Thank you very much!

P.S. Sorry for my English)))
