FSX Crash relating to fsp - Patpend - 03-11-2018

Good day, I too have been receiving this crash for a while now and i finally sat down to figure it out. I have reviewed the forums and have tried just about everything that I have found to fix it such as uninstall reinstall etc etc etc. Nothing I have done has worked. I currently have FSP uninstalled and have completed multiple flights without incident. I have used the latest "2016" installer downloaded from your site and no FSX is not on my C drive. I would love for help in resolving this issue so that I might continue to use this program. Thanks!

RE: FSX Crash relating to fsp - Joeflyer - 19-11-2018

Sorry for just now seeing this thread.
First, is this FSX-SE or FSX? If FSX, please see this link:

I have uninstalled it and installed SE version and have not reinstalled FS Passengers. The faulting module is not uiautomationcore.dll.

Faulting module name: fspassengersx.dll_unloaded, version: 4.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x56a2dbbe that is direct from the error that I posted. The microsoft link that you have provided is the fix for uiautomationcore, I appreciate the effort however.

RE: FSX Crash relating to fsp - Joeflyer - 25-11-2018

Yes, you are correct that it doesn't point to UIAutomation dll but sometimes that is the module that can trigger the FsP.dll error...if it's FSX. So now you have -SE? You shouldn't have this issue with -SE unless you put -SE in the (x86) directory. If you see another Exception code: 0xc0000005 this could likely be the reason.

RE: FSX Crash relating to fsp - LukaszB89 - 26-11-2018

It is FSX Original. One of the reasons I switched to -SE.

Do you have the same issue with -SE? If so, where did you install -SE?

RE: FSX Crash relating to fsp - Patpend - 02-12-2018

I haven't run it with -SE I will reinstall it today and try it out. All of my FSX copies have always had there own HD I'll report back. Also my boxed version was fixed eons ago for the UIAutomation dll. Thanks for the effort ill like I said ill report back.
