Short story:
For the release of FsPassengers for Prepar3Dv4 I need to redo all the utilities.
This new version of "VoicePackCreator" have a much better quality of sound and will allow me to offer new voicepacks.
For the development of FsPassengers for Prepar3Dv4 itself see here:
http://www.fspassengers.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=18097

Install VoicePackCreator 2018 for beta testing:
-Short: Simply unzip the directory "BetaTest_VoicePackCreator_20180704" where you want and click on "VoicePackCreator_2018.exe"
-Doesn't write anything in registry or outside of its directory, once delete there will be no traces left in your computer.
-Download zip here: http://www.fspassengers.com/BetaTest_VoicePackCreator_20180704.zip

Beta Testing:
Please, try to see if you can make quality voice recording, test everything, shake it, push it to fault and report anything wrong in this thread.
If someone want to correct text or documentation, it's welcome, but please try to "compact" the reports AND send me the files corrected (*.rtf documentation) instead of posting corrections here, I cannot spend my time copy/pasting corrections from here and there.

Much thanks  Beer

Bug #1: Tried to record a sound, and it's telling me that the average volume is too high (100%), and to lower the input volume. I have not changed any settings since opening it, and my mic is currently sitting pretty far away from me. What's odd is that if I go and change the default input volume of ~75% to 100%, that error goes away when recording. Either way, I am able to play my recording fine.

Bug #2: This issue existed with the previous version as well, and this might be a good opportunity to fix it, if you have the time. There are sound packs available in the More Download section, that are recorded in 32kbps. Here is an example. If you add them to a voice pack, and then click on them in the VoicePackCreator, you will get a CreateSoundBuffer Error Number: 80004001. Here is how I managed to solve the issue manually. Can the tool itself be modified to accept lower quality wav files? This would help those that are not as tech savvy.

Still testing it, but the core features seem to be working Smile Thanks for your efforts!

Hi Dan,

Tested it yesterday for a while.
Seems to work fine, a few little things:

1. When starting the program without a microphone connected, 2 error boxes appear. Perhaps an error_handling routine?
2. The program window cannot be resized. When clicking on the right side, the window shrinks and is fixed.

Great job Dan! Thanks a lot so far  Worship

100% for average is very strange.
Can you send me a picture of the message and wav form ?
Also a picture of the microphone volume change, usually 100% is higher than 70%...

Both sound very strange... Wonder

Much Thanks...

I corrected the 1 in incoming version, for the 2, windows is fixed size *appart* vertically.
If all is well you might be able to shrink it vertically only...

how about the fire and smoke effects in case of emergency, Crash landings ? Engine is tearing a part while on landing onto body ? Wings are collapsing...Main body tearing into 2 part...etc... ( in general all extreme effects)
