ORBX Bilbao + FSPAX detects "off runway" when its not - mikber - 23-03-2018
Hi,
Recently "upgraded" my sim to Orbx Bilbao and when I went to land there on the runway it was deemed by FSPAx to be "off runway".
Could we have this looked into. I assume its something to do with the way that FSPAX detects surfaces.
ORBIX LOWI does not show the same issues. This is very strange

What type of runway is it? Grass or dirt? If so, you may want to disable the penalty in the more_options.cfg within the Config folder, which is in the main FsP folder. Change it back when not using that particular airport or any other runway surfaces that aren't concrete or asphalt.

In real life its Concrete-Asphalt. I don´t understand why it detects it strangly and not as Concrete-Asphalt

Ok, maybe the AFCAD for the scenery is off somewhere. I really don't know. If it shows as concrete/asphalt in the sim and the AFCAD reflects the same, and the elevations are correct, FsP shouldn't be "seeing" the off runway problem.

Sometimes that happens. Depends of the addon scenery. Missing files somehow. I use some FSX scenery in my P3D v4 and the aprons and runways are dirt even if I looks like concrete. In FSX they were fine :D :D :D

Also, instead of disabling it completely, you can change the speed at which the penalty is triggered.
