[Solved]Unlock Code Fraud? - D.Pecher - 19-12-2017

I'm starting to wonder if FSPassengers is actually sold, although no more support is given. I purchased it a second time, because the code for my first legal copy was for no reason blocked and even after sending the mail as per FAQ wasn't unblocked. So I bought a second key on simmarket, and it was literally immediately blocked.

Knowingly charging money money for a defective product is called fraud, at least where I come from. Is there a reason why freshly bought codes are listed as blocked?

A not very happy customer.

What do you mean it was blocked? I'm not understanding your point about this. Can you explain further??

Well, if the OP is like me it means that suddenly he found his legitimately obtained copy of the game unusable, because his serial was blacklisted for some reason... In my case, after moving up to a newer computer (migrating EVERYTHING including the drives and Windows install) I was greeted with first a prompt to reinstall FSP and after doing so with a prompt that my key's been blacklisted. As per the program's (and site's) instructions, I contacted the developer to fix things (with an attached copy of the purchase confirmation from the FlightSimStore) and didn't get any sort of reply...

As has mine. I bought my download version from FlightSim Store as well and am unable to unlock it with my code 'Blacklisted'. I have sent emails with purchase proof etc and have not received a reply yet.

Ah, ok. I understand now. This is definitely something Dan has to work out. Why he's not responding about this is beyond me. I'll see if I can get him to work on this ASAP.

Edit: email was sent to Dan this morning

I have same problem.
I sent an email to Dan with proof of purchase, but I'm still waiting his answer.

As of today I still haven't received a response from Dan. Anyone else?

Total radio silence.. It's the holiday season, so he may not be checking his  (non-personal)e-mails or something?

No response from Dan until now

Well, that stinks. I was certain Dan would at least jump on this problem fairly quickly. I don't know what's going on, and I haven't received a response from him. It's not like him to ignore this sort of issue.

I was part of the fraud a couple of months ago.   Purchased a new license after waiting forever to hear something back from the AWOL developer.

After waiting and waiting, I went ahead and purchased a license (again).     After the purchase of course, I heard something back that my old code was still valid but hadn't been used in some time.   I wasn't certain before but I'm convinced this is his way of trying to squeeze every cent out of loyal customers and that he has no intention of supporting further development.

Legal action may be the next step in the pitiful wasting away of this product.

Still no response.

Hello, I have the same problem, I sent an email to Dan with the data of my purchase and I still do not have an answer.

I just entered the code that was blocked and it is already released and functional!  Smile Friend Big Grin
