Flight type Cargo. suggestion. - Cpt Bambi - 13-09-2017
Hello guys.
I've been using FSPX for quite awhile now and i love it, gives you an objective to do whilst flying commercial aircraft.
However i also like flying large cargo aircraft like my Just flight Fedex dc10 and pmdg 777f and would like to be able to make money for my company hauling frieght instead of passengers.
Would it be possible to add a frieght flight mode to this?, I know it sounds silly being a passenger addon but this is something i would really like to have added.
(Edit: just saw you can make a cargo payload model, silly me XD)

You may be able to find a payload model for cargo only...with maybe a few jumpseats added. Look in the More Downloads section for a cargo payload model for both aircraft types. I use one for the 777.

I just copied the MD11 payload model that came with FSP, just changed the name and going to change the pic, they're almost identical aircraft and after a test flight it works fine.
Going to sort the 777f next.

Hello me again, trying to use my PMDG777f but having problems.
Ok I've downloaded the Lufthanza cargo payload model and dropped it in the payload model folder, however FSP simply wont detect it, also tried the Fedex one but its the same, keeps detecting the default 777 passenger payload model which is wrong.
can anybody help me please.

You need to force the payload model you want while you are setting up the FsP flight. That way you will have the same payload model each time.
