You made a very nice landing. (+50)
Perfect Flight, no problems, and very satisfied passengers. (+150)
You landed at the scheduled airport. (+30)
Precise arrival time at destination.(-00h01:43 difference) (+100)
Is that all the bonus you can get for a flight to get your pilot promoted. There seems to be far more penalties than opportunities to get bonuses. One penalty can wipe even the best pilot bonus.
Isn't weighted a little to heavy on the penalty side?

I dont think so, encorages you to not f**k up and be a good pilot. Also makes you want to disable a lot of penalties which i need to remember to not do.

My pilot is going to be in the red for a bit then. Just the overspeed penalty due to weather change at cruise which is beyond the pilots control is -300 points. That would wipe out the above good piloting. Seems abit unfair.
I do agree it forces you to fly better but there are so many adverse factors that you can't control but no bonus for overcoming them.

If you are in a jet aircraft such as a crj700 or and airliner then you should be cruising above FL100 already for fuel efficency, even if its only just at FL110 it means you can go faster

I was referring to cruise above FL100.

Leinhto, you seem to have alot of different questions about how FsP operates. May I suggest that you review the documentation that comes with the software, review the FAQ and search the forums for the various answers to your questions? I'm not attempting to keep you from asking questions, however...just trying to be more helpful in your quest to be a better FsP pilot

Ok. I see more bonus for emergencies. I have my emergency set to 1%.
This is more for training on emergencies then. I get the concept.

Also, flying into or out of war zones gives you more points and money.
