[Solved]Error code 120 - joe12246 - 24-06-2017

Hey guys, new here but i cant find a solution, did two flights in a row, my sim crashed after i ended flight to to overuse, tried to restart and got that third party issue thing, pressed yes, nadda. tried to run installer which said it fixed a few issues, then this popped up before the end

setup was unable to copy the files to FSX's folder because a program hang some of them. error code 120.
please reboot and try again!


i did this and nothing worked

Joe, there might be more to this than we can see in your post. Not enough information. You may need to uninstall FsP, reboot pc and re-install FsP. Make sure the antivirus is disabled and that you have full administrator rights to your pc. Is UAC turned off, too?
Please make sure you are using the latest FsP installer and you select FSX or FSX-SE. Run the installer as admin.
If you get the same error again, please post the install.log and log.txt contents in your next reply. Those files will be in the main FsP folder in the Documents directory.

I've gotten it to work if it happens again I'll let you know. I believe having everything open, fsx, active sky, gsx, Rex, and PMDG, one of them might have clung to a file while I tried to update causing it to fail. But I rebooted with all off and it worked
