Old and new plane demands the same maintenance cost? - ufocom - 15-02-2017

Hello everybody,
I just searched for buying a plane and discovered in plane's technical data, that planes with 100 and 5000 hrs demands the same 25 maintenance cost (as well as for 100 hrs maint. ).
Actually I expected to see less cost for new plane than for old one. Any ideas please?

What aircraft are you referring to? All of them or just one?

That's regards each aircrafts, both installed and default ones.
I use P3D v3.4.18.19475, FSP P3D v. Jan 01 2017 and modified scenario.
Thank you

Hi

From what I can see, it's just service/maintenance cost (no repairs or parts replace/analyze).
examples:
Engine cleaning
Hydraulic fluids flush & replace
Regrease required parts
ens ens ens

Think of it as 2 vehicles which is getting the same service (minor or major service) but the year models are different.
Same parts and labour time required for the service.
Service/Maintenance still cost the same for both vehicles.

The "less cost" you referring to comes in the aircraft breaking and market value of the aircraft.
New aircraft don't break that easy, but depends how you have the scenario setup as well.

Well that's how I look at it  Friend Beer
