"Unable to connect to website" - MBrown - 28-12-2016

Hello,

I recently purchased FsPassengers for P3d after a long break from Flightsim (I had the FS9 version years ago).  I purchased through Simmarket and was able to download the install file.  However, inside the sim, when I attempt to activate, I get an error box that reads as follows:

"FsPassengers will check your authorization online.
Attempt to Connect to website please wait..."

and..

"Unable to connect, please check your FIREWALL or INTERNET CONNECTION !"

I use a VPN so I tried disabling that and turning off my firewall completely, but I still get this error.  I went to this forum to find an answer and got an "page cannot be displayed" error.  I used another computer to reach it.  I assumed it was some sort of ban, but for what I'm not sure, and there is no message of a ban as I've seen from some other posts in this forum.

Any help?  Just to recap...no firewall, no problem with my internet connect, but the authentication reports unable to connect.  I'd be happy to provide my purchase details to someone authorized to deal with it.

Thank you!

Please see Dan's post here about the latest version of P3D and FsP:

If you have the latest version of P3D, FsP will not work anyway until Dan publishes the update.
If it's strictly a connection problem, I really don't know what to suggest here.

i know that ip bans from websites have them only load up as a blank white screen which could be the problem. about it also not working with a vpn i am confused, maybe dan has blocked the known vpns from the backend

Website works fine now.  It must have been a VPN setting or something else on my end.

So, you are good to go now or is this still unsolved?

I still cannot activate from within P3D.  I have my activation code from Simmarket but continue to get a "cannot connect to website" error.  I was told this is an issue with the P3D version of FSPassengers, so I am waiting for a newer version.
