[Solved]FSpassengers X Not working in Windows 10 - krishan27 - 24-10-2016
Hi,
Just today I bought the FSPassengers X and downloaded the latest demo and registered the program. When I go to the load menu none of the buttons are working except the the cancel button. Also, this problem happened when I create a company. So, I uninstalled it and reinstalled again and ran with demo version but the problem exists.
I suspect it must be windows 10 problem. I thought this program fully supported in Windows 10. But now I am very disappointed and so upset. Please help me to work on the Windows 10.

Hi Krishan, please post your install log and log.txt that are located in the main FsP folder. Windows 10 can be quite finicky sometimes, so it may be one particular pc setting that causes this. Let's start by seeing the 2 files I mentioned.

I don't see any errors, but what I was afraid of is the location of the FSX-SE installation. The (x86) location can and has caused protection issues with software. It is not the ideal location to install a simulator. Some do not have issues with this but it varies from pc to pc. Would it be a major headache for you to uninstall -SE and re-install it OUTSIDE of the Program Files? Let's say create a FSX-SE folder on the C: drive like this C:\FSX-SE?
Or, you could try to turn off all protections on your pc to see if FsP will work in the x86 directory.

Hi Joeflyer, first I have the boxed version of FSX not FSX-SE is that an issue? Also, I will try to install in the root of the C drive.
Moreover, I have updated the Windows 10 to build 1607(anniversary update). Is that ok for this update.

Ahhh, I don't know why I had -SE on the brain. That happens from time to time. The same would go for FSX boxed. Please make sure the service packs are installed properly before re-installing FsP.
If you have created a new folder in C:\, you should be able to point the FSX installation to it.

1) I have installed the FSX in C:\FSX
2) Installed the SP1 and SP2
3) Installed simconnect program from the fspassengers website
4) Installed FSUIPC4.
5) Also tried the compatibility for FSX run to Windows XP SP3.
Nothing worked.. still the problem exists.

Hi, it seems like finally I was able to get it work. The buttons are working in the load menu. I removed the compatibility and left as Windows 10. But before I did not set compatibility, but still did not work, maybe I think installed on program files folder, no sure what happened.
Anyway, I am so happy now. Also I will test the software thoroughly that everything works correct. I was so worried the software did not work. When I saw it in the youtube I loved it so much. It is such a great piece of addon for FSX.

Hello, do you have FSX-SE or FSX? Either way, if you installed either in the Programs (X86) directory, there could be protection issues that come along with it when it comes to FsP. Many people have had issues getting FsP to work properly in that directory. I strongly advise anyone to install FSX or FSX-SE in C:FSX or C:FSX-SE to avoid the issues. A separate drive is ideal of course.
Also, in case you haven't read my private message to you, it is highly advisable for you to remove the @ and beyond portion from your user name. You may get more unwanted spam in your mailbox.

Hey! I solved this problem. There is only one solution if you have Windows 10. FSpassengers is not working due to new system updates. You need to go back to the previous version of this system. I installed Windows 10 1806 - everything works and now I fly with passengers on board
Best wishes. MateuszRemember not to install new Windows updates. Then your FSpassengers will stop working properly. I recommend setting the internet connection as tariff.
