Issues with FS Passengers: SE - coltrane - 25-07-2016
Hey,
I am running Flight Simulator X: Steam Edition on a Mac via Crossover. Everything works fine, so I thought i could install FSPassengers with no issues. But I have a problem:
When I want to start a flight on FSX, I can modify Fuel and Payload, but when it comes to selecting the type of flight and I choose "normal flight" FSP and FSX freeze completely, so I have to close Crossover and restart the program.
I guess there aren't many people who are running FSP via Crossover but maybe someone has an idea what the problem could be.

what are your mac specs
ive had this problem before
it turns out some file decided to crash causing the game to freeze trying to fix the probem and then not get fixed have u tried ot edit any of the files it comes with

I didn't do anything except I just tried to reinstall FSP, but nothing has changed.
My specs are:
Mac OS X 10.8.5
2,9 GHz Intel Core i7
8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

ok your specs are fine to run the game it may be overload on ram since it is quite alot to run at the same time but im pretty sure 8gb or ram should do it
so i tried to help you man lets hope some mroe profession support helps your since im just a normal junior member hope it gets fixed for you man however ill keep looking to see if i can help you some more

Coltrane, sorry for the delay in responding. Have been away for a few days. At any rate, the latest FsP update is suppose to correct this sort of issue, but it appears Dan needs to take a closer look. When he can do this, I have no idea. In the meantime, you may have to manually adjust the registry to effect a possible cure:

Oops, in my hurried reading of the problem, I just now noticed it's a MAC. I know zilch about the inner workings of a MAC. I don't know if you are comfortable with digging into the MAC and adjusting anything in its registry.

That's what I feared. I hope that anyone with a MAC can provide some insight about it. Maybe Liam's confidence in me is overrated at this point
