[Solved]Installation Problem On FSX:SE. "Cannot Find dll.xml" - borakrc - 03-06-2016
Hello. I'm trying to install FsPassengers on my system, but I have a problem.
My installation directory is D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX
I have copied dll.xml to the directories below:
D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX
D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\ConfigData\AppData
C:\Users\john\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX
C:\Users\john\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX-SE
I have installed http://www.fspassengers.com/?action=simconnect by following the installation instructions in readme file in that zip.
My error log is as follows:

Ok, I solved my problem. Here is how:
I have installed Windows last week. Then I installed Steam and FSX:Steam Edition. But I have never opened the game.
I wanted to play FSX for a little while. But when I opened the game, it actually installed some libraries for like 10 minutes. After it finished, I gave FsPassengers installation another try. And yep, FsPassengers was installed like a charm
I hope this helps to other people who may have the same problem in the future.
tl;dr Run fsx.exe at least once before installing FsPassengers.
