Collision detection problem - Pe11e - 22-05-2016 I simply can't manage to finish my last flight from LSZH to EDDM, already tried two times lol. First time AI crashed in my plane when I was standing on apron finishing before taxi checklist. Then I went to check more_options.cfg and disabled force collide detection (crash detection was already disabled) DisableForceCrashDetection =1; // disable the "force crash detection" feature of FsP DisableForceCollideDetection =1; // disable the "force collide detection" feature of FsP Then I've started the same flight again today, and everything went fine until I've crashed on AI airplane after the touchdown during deceleration! So I thought "how in the world this can be possible when I disabled force collide detection?!". Then I checked p3d realism settings and saw that crash detection was enabled! Now I have two questions: - Should FsP disable automatically P3D's crash detection if disabled in more_options.cfg? - If not, do I have to disable also crash detection in P3D realism setting before every flight? Are these options connected generally? I'm not sure if disabling force crash/collide detection has any effect in the sim? RE: Collision detection problem - SamTDS - 22-05-2016 You have to manually turn off the crash detection settings after them being enabled, I would recommend to turn off the ai traffic that is causing the problem. It may mean there isn't traffic around but it also means that there isn't anything to unrealistically crash into you. ~sam RE: Collision detection problem - Pe11e - 22-05-2016 (22-05-2016, 10:46 AM)SamTDS Wrote: You have to manually turn off the crash detection settings after them being enabled, I would recommend to turn off the ai traffic that is causing the problem. It's logical, but then I'm not sure what these option in more_options.cfg means anyway? How they can be effective when crash detection option in P3D realism settings is completely separate and it isn't controled by FsP? RE: Collision detection problem - Andre - 24-05-2016 Long time ago I had the same problem, very damaged aircraft had to land and then hopla AI just be4 me on runway and goodbye flight ![]() I turned off ai traffic, problem solved (boring but safer ![]() RE: Collision detection problem - SamTDS - 24-05-2016 ^ yeah, just do vatsim then you get other aircraft |
