I was a jammy sod when I got something like 1200 once for landing in Tripoli after a complete hydraulics failure and both engines out, by flat surfing on the sand next to the runway....... Must see if I can hunt it out tomorrow or another time. :-) See you up there !!! The bad flights are so much more interesting than the good ones, cheating or not so this thread is now fixed for you. The only disabled option is the prohibition for >250 KIAS at <10,000' since it did not exist until 1962 or so. RE: get on my level - jazzaviator - 29-04-2016 i wasnt trying to set a record, what I was trying to show you was the flight time and fuel burn used in comparison of the aircraft I was flying... that's the impressive part. and the average speed (little over mach 1.2) RE: get on my level - TrevorSP - 01-06-2016 (29-04-2016, 02:37 PM)jazzaviator Wrote: i wasnt trying to set a record, what I was trying to show you was the flight time and fuel burn used in comparison of the aircraft I was flying... that's the impressive part.Oh I agree with that, how you got those figures, a god only knows !!!!! So little fuel, what were you using, atomic ? Afterthought, I suppose the loo's could be used as methane generators, feed your passengers, beans etc, lots of lovely yuck down the loo, all mixed up and left to fester for a week or so using existing fuel tanks, but methane gas is syphoned off and compressed during flight, to give you fuel? No? ![]() RE: get on my level - jazzaviator - 01-06-2016 that's pretty funny. actually, I swapped engines. instead of usin the stock engines from the embraer, I took the engines from the F-37 Talon (from the movie, "Stealth") which has some awesome engines and fuel burn. it's a bit tricky to slow down and maneuver at high speeds, but engage the autopilot and everything is fine. |
