Buying an aircraft - SilverGoose - 14-04-2016 I got a plane that every time I try to buy it, the best option to buy has over 5000 hrs of flying, does anyone know what is it that determines the hours use or is it just random? would this effect my game play, I try logging off and on many times to the same result, I never get an option for a new plane. I've done at least two flights, during this period and to the same results. RE: Buying an aircraft - jazzaviator - 14-04-2016 it also depends on the type of aircraft. be sure to fully read the descriptions. some airplanes stopped production many many years ago and as such, you cant buy them brand new anymore. Usually when this happens, I tend to go with the lowest time aircraft and spend the money to fix it up. it also depends on how frequently you want to fly it. I am also notorious for buying aircrafts just to bolster my fleet earning power. so it doesn't matter what planes I buy if they are just going to sit in the hangar. the planes that I fly on a regular basis I tend to buy brand new and are modern aircrafts anyway RE: Buying an aircraft - SilverGoose - 14-04-2016 (14-04-2016, 04:45 PM)jazzaviator Wrote: it also depends on the type of aircraft. be sure to fully read the descriptions. some airplanes stopped production many many years ago and as such, you cant buy them brand new anymore. RE: Buying an aircraft - jazzaviator - 14-04-2016 then yes, that's definitely the case. I also have the C-177RG and it's the same thing. paid handsomely for a 5400TT airplane. but she flies perfect and I've never once had an in-flight failure with her. Thanks for your help I guess I'm not going to worry about it, it's one one my favorite planes anyways |
