How to disable GPWS for specific aircraft - RioPilot - 19-03-2016 Hi all, I've tried searching for an answer to this problem, but couldn't find anything. I recently purchased the Aerosoft A320/A320 add-on, which I've been using with FSPassengers in Prepar3d v3. However, it already has built in GPWS, causing a bit of an overlap when using it with FSPassengers. For example, I can hear both the built in aircraft's GPWS and FSPassenger's GPWS saying "1,000" at the same time, which is a little annoying. I realize I can turn of GPWS for all aircraft, but I don't want to do that... only for this one. Is that at all possible? If so, how? Thanks! RE: How to disable GPWS for specific aircraft - jazzaviator - 19-03-2016 its a function on the fms. pretty sure its on the radio tab next to the TA switch for TCAS. I don't have that specific addon, but I can almost guarantee its on the FMS somewhere. I think there is an option in fsp for specific aircraft but I can't remember so I refrained myself from posting RE: How to disable GPWS for specific aircraft - Prosdocimo - 19-03-2016 When you start a new flight choosing "start flight - load current aircraft" a window appears. Click on "flight & aircraft setting" button on the bottom right. There you can enable/disable your specific airplane gpws RE: How to disable GPWS for specific aircraft - RioPilot - 21-03-2016 Thanks for the input everyone. I'll give the "flight & aircraft" setting thing a try next time I fly. |
