Very off-topic, but it's a sad day for me - Anastasios - 07-09-2009
I remember a while ago, that Joeflyer gave us the news about his dog passing away. I felt very sad as I know how it feels to love a dog.
Today my little girl died as well. Because of my work I couldn't be there and that's pretty painful.
She had cancer for a long time.

When I was at my mother's place, she'd always follow me around. When I was on the couch, she was next to the couch. When I went to
play the piano, she would lay down next to the piano. When I would go outside, she followed and sat next to me. She didn't do anything,
but she just did not want to be alone.
Today, I heard, she just layed down next to the piano while I wasn't there.
She had a lot of energy and she could always forgive unreasonability.
No matter what you did or how anger you were, a dog will always forgive you. A quality that often is absent with human beings. That's what true love is.
I will miss her a lot.

Awww, Tasios...I am SO sorry about your loss! I had always feared that I would be away from home when my girl passed away, but
fortunately I was at home when her time came. It's been 2 years since my Boxer, Dutchess, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge, and I still
miss my girl EVERY single day. Pets grab at at your heart strings and never let go. It's the unconditional love that lasts forever.
My deepest, heartfelt condolences, my friend.

we had to put down 1 of our dogs once. Dam Rattlesnakes

As a dog owner and lover I know how you feel, I lost a very dear friend just over 2 years ago and even now still get sad thinking about her.
My thoughts are with you in this difficult time.

That is very sad news.
I think like the most people here we know how it is to have a dog.
It is not just a dog, it is the most loyal and trusted friend and buddy you can have.

When i was a little child, we had a pitbull. Hes name was Dyno, like in Flinstones :D
He was very agresive to other people and my Father put him down.
After 15 years i cant forget what friend i had, sometimes he was sleeping in my bed with me, in the winter he was towing my bob-sleigh
