Low income. - Mole - 17-01-2006 I was flying from Oslo to Cape town, a quite long trip with a Boieng 747. I landed in sout Africa, and saw that a a became -30.000 dollar? It was no space for more people on the plane. The reputation was about 95 %. What can i do, to earn moeny on a long trip? I earn money on the small trip with my Boieng 737. Mole Re: Low income. - jetdude43 - 17-01-2006 maybe, im not sure i just got fspassengers, u can raise the prices alittle for less passengers and more space, that ways they will hav mor space for passengers on the plain Re: Low income. - Jason - 17-01-2006 Can you post your flight report? I saw just yesterday someone with the same problem but his insurance cost was higher than the income, which gave him a neg. number, then then x50 multiplier made it HURT bad hehe. Re: Low income. - MobilePCPilot - 17-01-2006 One idea is lower your fuel costs by climbing to your max range altitude and run your engines at max range power settings. This way you always burn the least amount of fuel. This can make for a slow trip. But that is what autopilots are for! With the 50x multiplier any fuel cost savings pays big $$$ The one thing to watch out for is winds aloft. You don't want to fly against the jet steam. Active Sky is great for this because it gives the winds aloft forcast and uses real (time) weather so you can use RW online flight planning software. -Todd Giencke Re: Low income. - Mole - 17-01-2006 I did not saved the flight, because i don`t wanted to lose moeny. If a fly with lesser people, and higher ticket prices, i don` t earn more. I don`t know what i have to do. But anyway thanks. Mole |
