Music - SkyAirWorld - 06-01-2009

Whats your take on it? (When flying, please specify wheather or not you listen when sim flying or real world flying)

[Real World] I have been called un-professional by an older pilot for listening to music as Pilot in Command on cargo and general RPT
flights....(and no I dont mean using the aircrafts DME to tune radio freqs. I mean using an Ipod, or hooking the ipod/ mp3 into the aircraft...
My how I loved flight engineers after helping with that on one aircraft... Love )

and what do you listen to?

Re: Music - Anastasios - 06-01-2009

I don't listen to music during flightsim.

I'd like to listen to my Ipod during real flights, but we are not allowed.

Cockpit crew however use an Ipod or laptop alllll the time (during cruising ofcourse), especially on long haul flights.

Anastasios.

I've only listened to a few am stations while monitoring the ADF in private aircraft some years agolol but I never have music onboard a
company aircraft...NO WAY. I never listen to music while flightsimming either...no need to start picking up bad habitsWink
