KLM's first E190 - Anastasios - 04-12-2008 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oeBZ7fruJzw Anastasios. Re: KLM's first E190 - Joeflyer - 04-12-2008 Nice! It kind of looked like the pilot almost over rotated on touchdown. Well, it was a windy day there, huh? Re: KLM's first E190 - Valoran - 05-12-2008 Was the first pass a go-around or just a little showboating? Nice looking airplane there. Are you going to be working these at all or are you only KLM proper? Re: KLM's first E190 - SkyAirWorld - 05-12-2008 I hope the first pass was just for bragging rights... but then if it was... why was the gear down? 190 is a gem to fly ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Re: KLM's first E190 - Anastasios - 05-12-2008 To fly low speed and low altitude your gear must be down to prevent swarning and stuff. This airplane will be used for KLM cityhopper, so I won't be flying on it. Right now KLM Cityhopper only has Fokker 50, -70 and, -100. It will replace one of them. And ofcourse this as just a flyby ;-) Anastasios. Re: KLM's first E190 - Anastasios - 05-12-2008 If flaps are set beyond a certain point of angle /degrees you will have a gear warning or low altitude warning. It is normal for a flybly to have your gear lowered. Anastasios. Re: KLM's first E190 - SkyAirWorld - 06-12-2008 Have to love the cutoff switch ![]() ![]() |
