PPL Software - Sam Breese - 21-09-2008

I'm in the process of taking all my ground school exams for my JAR PPL in the UK. Of course I have all the books to learn and revise form
but is there any decent software or anything online to aid my learning?

I had a look at http://www.airquiz.com and wanted to know if that was at all worth purchasing?

Sam, you may or may not want to consider this but Sporty's Pilot Shop has some very good software you can get to supplement your
ground school. I bought the instrument rating DVD course some years ago for refresher purposes and it's quite interactive. Richard
Collins was the narrator/teacher for this course. At any rate, I still watch those DVDs every once in a while. It may be kind of pricey but well
worth the cost in my opinion.

I recommend King School Videos. I can still remember Martha and Larry when the US changed to ICAO airspace classification, "B is for
Big." There pneumonias are excellent and will help you to remember critical information. I can not confirm that their training videos
complies 100% with the UKs rules.
