Community round the world (with fsp) - Drew - 15-01-2006

WE have decided it would be a good idea to turn our little community flights into a round the world trip.

so far starting at Vagar 'Faroe Islands' (EKVG).......

Step 1 - >>>Newcastle 'UK' (EGNT) Prop [Image: tick-vi.jpg]
Step 2 - >>> Maastricht 'Holland' (EHBK) Prop [Image: tick-vi.jpg]
Step 3 - >>> Innsbruck 'Austria' (LOWI) Jet [Image: tick-vi.jpg]
Step 4 - >>> Split (LDSP) Jet [Image: tick-vi.jpg]

Step 5 - >>> Athens (LGAV) Wednesday - 8pm GMT Download PLN here-- http://www.s666jam.com/ldsp-lgav.PLN
Step 6 - >>> Larnaca (LCLK) ????

would ideally like to plan several flights ahead, so if you have any suggestions where to go, please post and i will
keep this post updated.

Should be looking at around 1.5-2 hours per flight, either in jets or (turbo)props

Anyone can join in at any point, see this post on how to connect to the server....

Can but is very short, if we want to use jets again maybe Innsbruck? Very challenging approach Wink (don't fly anything bigger than a 737 though)

Re: Community round the world (with fsp) - Jetsgo - 15-01-2006

Sorry, Ryan, I left out Capetown, but that's only an option which can be changed of course.
The first leg from Schiphol would be another prop flight, just in case anyone would like to land at my place. It can be left out as well and
flown by jets direct to Split (say hello to Fruitfly).

As said before: nothing we have to do, just what I thought would be nice places all over the world.

Re: Community round the world (with fsp) - Drew - 15-01-2006

im fine with that, thou we will have to change amsterdam for Maastricht as we have already done that lol

if everyone else is ok with this route, i will post it in top thread, and check off legs as they have been done.

(remember you dont have to do all of these, just because you have missed some flights, you are all free to join in anytime you wish Smile )

Re: Community round the world (with fsp) - Dutch64 - 15-01-2006

70 hours of flying, isn't that a bit short? lol

Re: Community round the world (with fsp) - Drew - 15-01-2006

we will turn round and do it back again the other way lol

Right, and I would agree to fly Innsbruck instead of Stuttgart as this could be a lot of fun Wink
but we would need some minimum visibility there, else it would rather be a mess!
