No i'am not druged, there are now officily Winglets on a MD-80!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup. Winglets plus stage IV hushkits. Very nice upgrades. The MD80 already has a very efficient supercritical wing and ranked wingtips so it's very
hard to improve on it.

September Airways mag. has a section on blended winglets. This company is currently making them for the B733, B737 and B752/3
with the 767 and 777 being next in line for development.

Not that big? The B737 ones are around 7-8 feet tall! I'd call that big. The MD80 one's look more like exaggerated raked tips.
