The MD80 already has a very efficient supercritical wing and ranked wingtips so it's very hard to improve on it. This company is currently making them for the B733, B737 and B752/3 with the 767 and 777 being next in line for development. The B737 ones are around 7-8 feet tall! I'd call that big. The MD80 one's look more like exaggerated raked tips. |
