Found this footage of Jet Blue landing with the nose wheel facing sideways!!!!

Yeah, old news. I watched it happen live. Ah the marvel of the modern news networks... Big Grin

I don't like how it's under the category of "funny videos" however. Even though it eneded up being practically a non event, it's possible it could have ended otherwise. I still marvel at the stupidity of some people.

Sorry Guys, I didnt know it had already been posted, if i had the time to wade through 10 months of posts I would!!!!

As for the Stupidity bit I didnt call it a funny video, just happened to stumble across it and posted it here for others to see,

Althought I'm not a comercial pilot, I asked my flight instructor about this (I'm working on my IFR rating) and he told me that the landing
gear turns 90 degrees when it retracts on the Airbus 320. When the pilot deployed the gear, maybe a linkage broke that turns it back
forward. One possible explination.
