uploading my previous flights to my new computer - carlucci - 29-09-2015

This is probably not a new subject, so lets see what happens, I started all my flights with my new company long ago, I got a new computer and we saved all the files on a flash drive. We tried to download all my old files to the fs9 files on the new computer after I reinstalled FS 2004. They are still not showing up in my flight logs, my pilot's name and the name of my new airlines. I am running windows 8 now, I hate to start over again with a Cessna after all the hard work of flying for years, what am I doing wrong to see my old flights?

You might want to uninstall FsP, remove any folder(s) that may remain after uninstalling, reboot pc, re-install FsP, make a back-up of the NEW FsP
database folder and put it in a safe location, and delete the NEW database folder from the main FsP folder.

You say that you have all of the files on a flash drive, right? Copy the database folder from your flash drive and paste it in the main FsP folder of
the new installation. Your company and pilot information should be there. If it doesn't show up, the database folder may not have correctly copied
over to the flash drive before you uninstalled it the first time. If that's the case, you will not be able to recover the information.

Carlo, not very technical at all really. Hope you can get it sorted out.
