Texture Problem - gronji2004 - 03-03-2012
Hi Guys,
Just bought a brand spanking new PC top of the range, FS running like a dream for once :D fresh install etc and im having this problem with water
textures, it completely ruins the ocean when squares are loaded!?
Does anyone know how to solve this problem:

The image you posted doesn't reveal too much. I'm sorry but I don't see the problem.

Eyup mate! yeh shouldnt have put the circles on it!! thats all spose to be water ahead but as you can see theres squares of it loaded and a different
color ..

Alex, that's FS9, correct? If so, I always had that problem with distant water textures not loading quickly enough. Never could figure out why....even
though at the time I had a really decent video card...GTX 570. Of course other things may have contributed to the temporary slow loading of water
textures. But, I don't have that issue in FSX at all.

Yeah, the water textures in FS2004 are pretty poor. There are a couple of better ones you can download for free over at Simviation. I'm using one of
those, I can't remember which right now.

Try to set your settings to maximal and try, anyway i think fs2004 is like this. But i still like it better than fsx
