inflight movies - twowheel - 27-04-2011

Hello everyone

I've been using an old version of FSP for FS9 for quite some time, and only upgraded to the latest version recently. However, now, whenever I want to
show an inflight move (shift-cntl-O) I get told "sorry Captain, we can't do this now". It's dark outside, the pax have had diiner & drinks and the
flight is in cruise mode.
What am I doing wrong?

You using FsPX or FsP?? You may want to check the key assignments in the FsP settings to make sure the key assignment is correct or if the aircraft
you are using doesn't have the same assignment for the aircraft itself.

Even if you choose "all planes have service" not all planes can show movies.Beer

Thanks, I'm using FS9 with FsP, and I mostly fly propliners like the Lockheed Constellations, Douglas DC-4/-6 and -7B etc.

I did a search through the forum and I _think_ somewhere here I read about selecting a movie based on length of the movie. Is that correct? If so, how
does that work?

Thomas

Thanks but how does one know which planes can show movies and which can't? I recently did a flight in a B737 and the movies worked perfectly. Is it a
function of cruise altitude, or does FsP only play movies in jets, or what?

Re: inflight movies - Joeflyer - 23-05-2011

It's a function of size and type of aircraft. Did they show movies on the old prop liners? Wink I'm quite sure the answer is no. The length of movie
option is available in FsPX, not FsP.

OK, I think that sorts that one out!

Than ks for the help
