Strange thing happened recently ...
Installed a fresh FS9 after a break, everything went along fine until the other day
I have FrameRte locked at 25 and everything maxed out...
Flying along easily between 23-25 then encountered problem.
Next time the FR dropped to around 10-13 ??? tried less Dense etc.. no change
Then pressed Q [mute] and immediately back to 25 frames.
So the sound is the problem for some reason now.. never happened before ?
I don't believe any add ons are the cause since I don't have much yet

Glacier Bay 2 is just about it.
I can still fly along normally without stutters if the sound is turned off but its a bit weird.
Any help appreciated

Unless you flying in Alaska or British Columbia turn off the Glacier bay inside your addon scenery. Glacier Bay is a HUGE file

Do you have a sound card, or is the sound onboard. If onboard sound is always heavy on the CPU.
