These pics are mostly for Jetdude to show REX for FS9. None of the pics have been altered. The textures are outstanding and even the
rain drops are more realistic. I try out the various textures fairly frequently:

Great shots as always joe!
Yea REX is outstanding... just waiting for the next update for FSX, only problem is they have been spending a lot of time on the XPlane
version (and work keeps me away from fs) :/

Re: Post Your Screenshots Here #12 - Joeflyer - 22-07-2010

Thanks, Crowe Smile I've not tried X Plane but it looks promising for the future. I rarely venture into FSX since FS9 runs so much more
smoothly....except during heavy HD cloud draws of course. And, I highly doubt that I will spend any $$ for FSX addons since I plan to do a
total upgrade on my pc in the future. Got to have the nuclear powered pc to run FSX at the level I prefer...know what I mean? lol

Re: Post Your Screenshots Here #12 - timtomairways - 22-07-2010

you should probly try a Jetline PC

http://www.jetlinesystems.com/home.html

they are custome made to run Flight simulators. Specificly FSX, they are pricy thoue

I've seen their systems. You're right...too pricey for my taste. I'll take my chances on making my own configuration at a much lower cost Wink

Re: Post Your Screenshots Here #12 - timtomairways - 22-07-2010

I thought about getting a Jetliner, even thire lowest cost system runs FSX pretty good. but im in no position to get a new PC. ill be pacint
and enjoy the one i have. mean while ill work on the next batch of screen shots. The USS enterprise will fly agine.

Re: Post Your Screenshots Here #12 - crowebird - 23-07-2010

Yea, I got myself a good rig, and it took awhile for me to make the switch to FSX but I have already put some good money into fsx addons
and have it tweaked to run as good as fs9 but with some extra eye candy (some fps are lost, but not enough to make me go back).

XPlane does look promising though, once the graphics start to get on par with FSX, and they continue to improve their flight model I will
probably take a closer look... still waiting to be able to do proper stalls/spins though.

(Edit: on a side note, just looked at those jetline computers, the $5k comp shows a minimum 32fps (if that is the lowest drop for a scenery heavy/traffic heavy - max everything settings, that is pretty impressive - still not worth 5k, but pretty sweet)).

Well, Tim, if you didn't post so many freak'n screenshots at one time, we wouldn't need a new thread so quickly lol A new page should
show up soon. Be patient, young man.

Here we go agine. this should not be to much

The setup, me and my Beautiful P-35 bonanza. she needs to get up to athens GA, but the time from my home town airport to athans
Epps is about a 1.5 hours. and i only have enough fuel to get 3/4 of the way there. since my home town airport does not have fuel. so i
figure a short VFR hop to St Marys to gas up, then fly on to Athans.

Departing my littel airport.
