Re: Post Your Screenshots Here #12 - Spokane - 26-03-2010

These are screenshots from only my second FSX flight just using the default 737 and scenery. From Astana,Kazakhstan to Almaty.

Departing Astana, there is a lake near the airport as seen here shortly after takeoff.

A giant lake in Kazakhstan you encounter between Astana and Almaty named Balkhash.

Some river obviously.

The mighty Kirghiz Mountain Range which towers over Almaty and runs along the border with Kyrgyzstan. Coming in from the north poses no challenges, as
for the south, once or twice I underestimated those mountains and nearly ran into them in a 747 in a flight from Mumbai to Almaty. Then departing back
to Mumbai I did run into them, so I planned a route around them, as I should have done in the first place.

Re: Post Your Screenshots Here #12 - AeroJim - 28-03-2010

These are some great shots, I check this forum everyday just to see if any new screenshots are up. I'm excited to start a full time job and
enjoy the benefits of living off a real salary rather than student loans, the benefits being a new desktop and PC with the big FSX lay out! Keep
sharing guys!

Re: Post Your Screenshots Here #12 - Joeflyer - 28-03-2010

Now that you've got a pc with a big FSX layout, start posting some shots! Wink

Outstanding, Spokane Top I like flying around Russia as well...in particular USSS. The freeware scenery I have for USSS(FS9) is tops!

Re: Post Your Screenshots Here #12 - Spokane - 01-04-2010

That mesh needs some fixing in a few places!

What was the first plane, a 737?

Mmmmkay, here are some FS9 shots I just took doing my first Air Hauler flight from Harbin,China (my base) to Fukuoka,Japan.

Sorry if this kills anyone's bandwidth. Big Grin

A crater lake along the Chinese and North Korean border. Like the one in Oregon its a volcano that now has a lake occupying its cone/crate, but I read
it is not extinct like the one in Oregon. Its called Baekdu Mountain and the English name for the lake is Heaven Lake.
