3 questons - Flash87 - 24-05-2005

Hey Dan and everybody else just a few questions I'd like to ask. Smile

1. I'm curious will there be some kind of instructions or tutorial in FSP,and how detailed might they be?

2. Is there any chance the freeware might come out before the payware.( I'm interested in this because you said that the freeware is pretty
much done).

3. And lastly ( this one is a little off topic but I'm dying to know.) Has anyone heard anything on FLIGHT SIMULATOR 2006!!!
All I see now are old boring post about what people want on fs2006 but not even a whisper of anything offcial. Please someone tell me
that it's in development I'm starting to lose hope. Hunappy

Best regards
Flash

Have a look at that, it was Microsoft gathering information for the next version, I personally highly doubt it will be FS2006, my personal
opinion is that it is more likely going to be FS2008 but hey who am I Smile

1. Dan posted earlier that writing the program's text was one of the last things on his to do list. He's not a native english speaker so he was
going to have someone proof read and correct everything before release. Text will include help files, readme files, etc.

2. Dan said if he were to release the program as freeware only it would be considered done enough at this point. But it's not going to be freeware, it's going to be payware. At this point the program is not considered complete enough as far as payware standards go.

3. Microsoft is working on something right now, but there is no word on any kind of target release date yet. Rest assured, there will be more
versions of flight simulator for the future. In the mean time, enjoy FS2004 and all of the current addons that make it great (like FsP!) Remember
that when a new version gets released, the game is back to stock version only; the flight sim community has to start making custom content for it all
over again.

How we will miss FsP when we upgrade to FS2006!!! In other words, it is very easy to get used to good things, but when they are - for
some reason - taken away ...

I might upgrade it for Fs2006 if: my financial situation allow me to continue to work on it, Fs2006 still need FsP, Fs2006 doesn't have
radically changed so I don't need to rewrite 90% of FsP (47'000 lines so far)

At this time it's impossible to know.. it depend of Fs2006 anyway.
