Extremely Strange FS9 Problem - Printable Version

Extremely Strange FS9 Problem - gronji2004 - 07-12-2007

Hey,

I have had this a few times now but I have never seen it mentioned before. At any random point in my flights recently, the sky suddenly turns white:

That picture was took at night!

I thought it was a weather problem so I went into the weather panel and clear all the weather. However, when I click Ok, there is a CTD and it does it
every time?

Anyone have any ideas?

Have you tried the infamous uninstall/reinstall trick yet?
That might be my first response if you feel comfortable doing it. I'm not much of a pc wizz tho!

Jim! I'd rarther not re-install! Got too many addons to configure if I do so !

That looks rather like a graphics driver problem to me. Have you recently changed your graphics card, its drivers or anything related?

See if there is an updated driver available for your card. And while at it, make sure you have the latest DirectX version installed (for Win2K or XP
that would be 9.0c).

WOW traveling with the speed of light ,
you go so fast that you pass so many stars that everything turns white lol
(very original , I had strange things with camouflage in the cockpit )

Everything updated! Direct X 10 Vista! Done everything that has been discused! Hmm, its only occured recently, but I haven't installed recently. Could
FSUIPC have anything to do with it? I have the payware version.

Haha 320 Knotts was my crusing speed for that flight to BIRK (Reykjavick)
