me VS computer VS fs9 - the_nick - 20-10-2007

I think everyone had this already , I was doing a flight from EBBR to LIRF when I was 2 to land my TCAS told me that I had to climb atleast
with 1500fpm to avoid a collision , wich I didn't wanna do so I disabled all traffic so the plane on collision course is gone , then I reload
again traffic wich is more nice to see when they are waiting tfor take-off after you landed , and finally at 700ft my computer crashes so
what is the moral of this story , if you have to crash you will crash no matter what you do

Haven't had that in a long time, but I know what you're talking about.

A TCAS is wonderful (using the ILH TCAS V4 here myself). But I also use increased AI taxi speed so they clear the runway faster as well as
AISeparation to avoid the big guy's crushing the little ones all the time.

I'm in the AISeparation over AISmooth camp. Maybe because I use a TCAS. I've never seen AISmooth produce a "string of pearls" as nice as AISeparation
does it.

With all that I seldom have to zap AI planes. The last time I had to was at ... um ... forgot the airport. Anyhow, it was kinda funny. The whole bunch
of "Automated Idiots" was lined up at the active. But I guess some error in the AFCad kept them from actually reaching the hold short point, so none
of them ever asked for takeoff clearance. They sat there for 5 minutes, FS9 "poofed" the one in front, all moved up ... wait another 5 min ... rinse
and repeat. I didn't have the patience to wait another 3 poof cycles, so I used the traffic explorer to zap them.
