To be honest... no Turning

Depends off cours what you mean by food flight planner. But something which gives a clear view of the airways and navaid availables i
only know FSNavigator which is payware. But it really worth its price

I also use sometimes FSBuild which is more "professional", does not needs to run flight sim to be used but less user friendly and a
bit Bug example: if a navaid on your route in middle east exists with the same ICAO in western Europe or USA, your flight plan will make
a hook to this one. It can be also a nice tool to check quickly if a route given by routfinder will not drive you via Anchorage when flying from
Capetown to Rio Smile but in global apreciation, this FSBuilder does not worth fully its price.

I use use in combination
Route finder, (free web site)
http://rfinder.asalink.net/free/

Then fsbuilder for first check

Then Eurocontrol, when I want to play it "professional"
http://www.cfmu.eurocontrol.int/chmi_public/ciahome.jsp?serv1=ifpuvs

And then FSNavigator as digital map when I need to have a clear view of the others available airways, navaids around, check the runways
length etc. It is also my tool to forcast fuel consumption and and flight time. It is really the best "all in one" flight planning tool I know so far

Re: Freeware flight planner - fruitfly - 11-10-2007

Here it is: Super Flight Planner:

http://www.cpinf.com/

If it happens that you have problems logging and downloading (most probabbly you will), you can download it (and the FSX patch) from
here:
http://www.ers-squad.com/fsx/

It's much more elaborate and better looking than FSNav, but I have no patience (nor need) to start learning something from scratch.
Otherwise I would have never bought FSNav.

We don't need food planners .... We need drink planners! Beer

I think you'd make a fortune by making and selling a booklet that would go under name "Occasions for every celebration - Dionysian
book of festives" or something like that. It would have 365/6 pages and would list good reasons for getting drunk that day. For every day.
With a brief description. Like this:

"February 29th: Banana picking day in Guatemala - It is celebrated by roasting a girraffe and skipping the rope. In case you don't have one
(girrafe), a case of beer will suffice."

The ocassions are countless: the indepedance day of Kirgistan, the day of initiation rites in West Gabon etc...

I'd say that would be a good drink planner, wouldn't you?
Beer

The route finder

here is the good complement to it.
