Unfair decrease of company reputation and wounded pilot - WebMaximus - 27-11-2005 Hi, Today is not a happy day...made a crash landing due to scenery errors in FS9 and my pilot got seriously wounded and my company's reputation decreased ALOT. I'm running in 'Instant save mode' for max realism but then again it's not that realistic with scenery errors causing crashes IRL so my question is - can I in any way roll back the last flights records in my company? Also have another question if it's not possible in any way to 'undo' the last flight, will my pilot heal eventually if I go on flying with him even though he's wounded or do I need to create a new pilot just to let him heal? Thanks in advance, Richard Post Edited ( 11-27-05 18:54 ) Re: Unfair decrease of company reputation and wounded pilot - Mud - 27-11-2005 No you can't roll back your last flight. Re: Unfair decrease of company reputation and wounded pilot - poden - 28-11-2005 Exactly why I don't run with instant save. Re: Unfair decrease of company reputation and wounded pilot - DBE - 28-11-2005 If I remember, you have the option of "healing" your pilot in the Company Manager. Re: Unfair decrease of company reputation and wounded pilot - SaVas - 28-11-2005 While I think the instant save is a great feature, I dont use it because of the instablility of FS9 Re: Unfair decrease of company reputation and wounded pilot - WBHoenig - 28-11-2005 Get rid of instant record. FS's bugs run in the trillions. Re: Unfair decrease of company reputation and wounded pilot - Travis - 28-11-2005 I once had a crash coming into a small airfield near home (KMYF). I was coming in at night on instruments in my Mooney Bravo, locked onto the ILS beam and was decreasing alt via autopilot to land reasonably smoothly. All my lights were on. Somewhere between 500 and 100 feet off the end of the runway (and only about 10-50 feet off the ground) I ran smack into a tree centerlined on the runway. I didn't even see it until it was too late (even at 85 KIAS)...you'd think the lights would be good for something... Re: Unfair decrease of company reputation and wounded pilot - Mud - 28-11-2005 Before each flight I always backup the data file , if something goes wrong then I can always roll back. At least I hope so , i never used it so far ![]() Mud Re: Unfair decrease of company reputation and wounded pilot - Drew - 28-11-2005 clever idea Mr Mud ![]() Re: Unfair decrease of company reputation and wounded pilot - Mud - 28-11-2005 we only play a game with 0 and 1's as data , so backup data is a wise thing to do ![]() nothing clever about it ![]() Mud Re: Unfair decrease of company reputation and wounded pilot - WBHoenig - 29-11-2005 Nice idea ![]() ![]() |
