CH Proudcuts! - gronji2004 - 10-09-2006 Who here owns something from CH Products? I would love to get a CH Products Yoke but they are too expensive for me at 14! ![]() some rudder pedals though! Re: CH Proudcuts! - gronji2004 - 10-09-2006 Sorry Mods! I accidently posted this topic twice. Sorry! Re: CH Proudcuts! - Dutch64 - 10-09-2006 No prob, removed the other one. Re: CH Proudcuts! - gronji2004 - 10-09-2006 Thanks! So does anyone own anything from CH Products? Re: CH Proudcuts! - Navymmw - 10-09-2006 I own Ch Yoke, and Pedals. They are both really nice. OH ya im also 14, my suggestion is buy them off of Ebay there pretty cheap. 170$ for both of them, with a 2 year warrenty. Re: CH Proudcuts! - Brian F. - 10-09-2006 Ya, I have the USB Yoke, found it brand new on EBay for $80.00 I say tell your folks you want one for XMas. Re: CH Proudcuts! - gronji2004 - 10-09-2006 Great Idea! I tried to get one for £50 off eBay! I ended up getting one of those analog ones! ![]() Re: CH Proudcuts! - AeroJim - 11-09-2006 i have the rudder pedals. . .they are great. . .but im a poor college student (UND) Sioux Hockey!. . . .but i got it for x-mas. Re: CH Proudcuts! - highlander - 11-09-2006 USB Pedals. Couldn't fly without 'em now; there's no substitute (no, a twist-grip joystick isn't a substitute). Re: CH Proudcuts! - gronji2004 - 11-09-2006 I dont see the point in pedals! Yeh it makes it more realistic, but a yoke and throttle does it for me! Re: CH Proudcuts! - vegasflyboy2004 - 11-09-2006 Quote:gronji2004 wrote: I think by reading your own words, you would see the point in pedals. ![]() they can get. And pedals are just another step toward that. At least for me they were anyway. Re: CH Proudcuts! - gronji2004 - 11-09-2006 Well yeh! Before I start purchasing things like this though, I need to know that I am flying correctly. I mean I am only 13 but I follow the checklists, I take off and fly correctly, I landing with APP and disable it before i land! I need to know if everythings wright before I really go for it! Re: CH Proudcuts! - andy14 - 11-09-2006 I own the Yoke Re: CH Proudcuts! - olseric - 15-09-2006 Pedals allow you to do a couple of things including taxiing the aircraft by turning the nose wheel and more importantly, they allow for advanced maneuvers such as slip/skid turns. Re: CH Proudcuts! - highlander - 15-09-2006 The other thing with the pedals is that you have differential braking. This makes it possible to taxi the taildraggers, such as the DC-3, because you brake the left and right wheels to turn those aircraft in real life. Crosswind landings can be done with more precision and control using pedals. Helicopters can't be flown without them. They're really worth the money - glad I bought 'em. Next piece of hardware I'm after is the eDimensions TrackIR 4 Pro. |
