flap speeds - the_nick - 06-08-2006

does someone know a site where you can see for the flap speed for boeing ?

Re: flap speeds - Captain_Smith - 06-08-2006

It should have it on Flight Sim...

Where you see what ATC Last said, and all that.

Re: flap speeds - vegasflyboy2004 - 06-08-2006

ATC in flightsim is not going to tell you what your flap speeds need to be. You can download checklists for different aircraft at Avsim or Flightsim
that should tell you the info you're looking for. Hope this helps!

Sorry, I misunderstood what you were saying. You're right, press F-10 and there should be a checkmark, push that and it will bring up the applicable
checklist for the aircraft you're flying, if it came with a checklist. Otherwise, then you will have to go to one of the sites I mentioned and
download your own checklist. Sorry Capt Smith, I should've read that better. I'm stupid

Re: flap speeds - walterp - 06-08-2006

I just did a Google search for "Boeing flaps speeds" and got loads of details on page one.

Re: flap speeds - vegasflyboy2004 - 06-08-2006

http://www.b737.org.uk/flapspeedschedule.htm

First site I clicked on, gives the flaps speeds for the B737-300/400/500. Google is your friend Smile

Re: flap speeds - the_nick - 06-08-2006

737-600
737-700
737-800
737-900
767-300
7e7-800

Re: flap speeds - Sovek - 06-08-2006

There is no set speed for the flaps, it all depends on your current weight, the heavier you are, the more speed your going to need, see what I'm
getting at.

Re: flap speeds - the_nick - 07-08-2006

yes that's right , the heavier you are the more speed , but if you take to much speed you will damage the flaps and this is what I want to
prevent.

Re: flap speeds - Sovek - 07-08-2006

oh those speeds, I'm not sure on how to aquire those, but with most of the Aircraft settings Usually they dont blow out untill about 250 kts due to
the people are just a little lazy. It wouldn't be too hard to ball park it though. I know DC-3 speeds are easy to come by.

Re: flap speeds - the_nick - 07-08-2006

I know if I take the reference from a 737-400 it also goes but I still prefer the right reference
