Airport Environment Upgrade Question - aristoteles - 17-06-2006 Just a question for you guys: I have Ground Enviroment installed and it does a hell of a job improving the appearance of textures, but would like to know if any of you has AEU (version 7) installed on top of that. I am unsure if I will get better textures in airports with it installed. Should I leave GE2006 as it is? Re: Airport Environment Upgrade Question - Airliner - 17-06-2006 Ground Enviroment? Never heard of it but, I'll have to check it out now! ![]() I have AEU7 and think it's great, personally. AEU7 pretty much changes the runway, taxiway and ramp textures as well as the airport building textures. Some of the buildings look a little goofy, Like KBOS - I think it's greenish or something but, 1) it looks better than the default, blank look and 2) I have third party software for KBOS anyway. ![]() Have you seen the screenshots for AEU7? That's pretty much the gist of it. Here's a quick one: http://www.flugsimulation.com/rubriken/tools/bilder/aeu7.jpg More in the download but I'm too lazy to look it up right now - off work in 10 minutes! ![]() Re: Airport Environment Upgrade Question - eazy - 18-06-2006 Don't think there'll be any conflict between the two. GE does ground textures, AE does essentially taxiway and building textures. Re: Airport Environment Upgrade Question - aristoteles - 18-06-2006 I installed both eventually, they work well together ![]() |
