What I can't understand is why only 24K airports, I thought there were 55K in the current version?

Nope, only 24k in this one. I think its actually 23500 or something like that. I would really like to see more airports however. Maybe around
30-35K in FSX would be good but they're not making any new ones. Hunappy

You know... theres really only something like 15K airports in the world... MS just adds everything it possibly can, including strips that in
real life do not exist/have been decomissioned 20 years ago and are now a forest/beach park/overgrown (Bellows AFB for one).

That wouldn't add up, we have strips here in UK that aren't included but are still there if you look for them.

I doubt every single private strip in the world is there.... but I know of about 50 airports in FS that don't exist in real life (anymore).
