Go and have a look at VATSIM at http://www.vatsim.net, you need knowledge of procedures, a little bit of humour to not take things too seriously
and you need squawkbox from http://www.squawkbox.ca

You have to download squawkbox, and you have to register on VATSIM.After that, you're ready to start you online flying.

VATSIM 103 - Software Setup
The only software you need to connect and fly on VATSIM is FSUICP
and
either (SquawkBox 3) or (FSInn with AVC)
