I am flying on VATSIM and I have bought a headset with a mic(the mic is on the headset). Is there anyway that I can make the sound from
my engines to come from my speakers and the sound from the controllers to come from the headset? I've been trying but I can only get
one applience to play both sounds, I can't get each to play one. Any suggestions?

Yes you can. I did (when I flew online). I used a USB mike/headphone set up. When in SB3 or FSInn there is a set up box for speakers.
you'll have a drop down menu asking where you want your plane sounds to come from and your ATC sounds to come
from. Again, I'm using a USB setup for the mike/headphone. You can do it without a USB set up but you'll have to
have two sound cards.
As far as flying offline (which is all I do anymore) I don't believe you can seperate the two.
Thanks to this site I discovered Radar Contact. Bought it, installed it, love it. The combination of Ultimate traffic, Radar Contact, FSPassengers and Active Sky 6 is more realistic that being online, to me anyway. Therefore my wanting to fly online have dissapeared. Except for Ultimate traffic and Radar Contact, all of the other programs can be used in conjunction with flying on line.
Oh yeah! don't forget the PMDG 737 !!!

I already have the PMDG 737, 747, etc.
