PMDG and TO/GA - WBHoenig - 28-12-2005
This is a very simple question for anyone who has PMDG 737.
As my signature says, I just bought the PMDG 737ng both 600/700 and 800/900 yesterday. I found and printed a nifty 56-page flight tutorial on avsim,
and I am attempting to fly the flight in it. However, I just got to takeoff and it instructs me to accerelate to 40% N1 and then activate TO/GA mode.
However, I can't find where the TO/GA switch is. Can someone point out to me where it is?

The upper left screw of the MCP
Yes, the screw... that holds the panel in place

They made it the screw because it's usually on the yoke if I'm not mistaken, but there are none in the panel, so they put it on the screw. topleft
screw, next to the a/t arm or something

Make sure the auto throttle is on, or it won't do anything. But yes, it's the screw.

Well, I click the screw (w/ autothrottle on), and nada happens, but I'll try again right now, I guess.

I did.
Didn't work again, although my mouse does turn into a selecting curser.

It does. I press it and nothing happens. And yes, I do have autothrottle armed.

You need FD on and maybe armed autothrottle too.
Download a tutorial, There is one on avsim.com read there and follow the steps... sadly I don't know the filename
I could look it up...

pmdg_flight_tutorial_v2.zip
Search that and follow it completely, then it should work, if not then reinstall the PMDG plane.

I'm using that very tutorial. Tried it with FD, but I guess I'll try it again.
