x52 owners.... - Drew - 26-12-2005 is there some way to 'turn it off' ?? ie, power it down or something, so that its not all glowing lol, without unplugging the usb cable? i know i can go into the control panel and turning down the brightness of the led and mfd everytime im done using it, but jusr wondered if there was a different way? didnt see nothing in the manual? cheers Re: x52 owners.... - Nasder - 26-12-2005 I don't know about the X52. but I own a X45, and I haven't found a way to turn it "off" without unplugging the USB, but it's not a problem for me, I got the USB cable just next to the keyboard, along with the X45 plug ![]() Re: x52 owners.... - JayKae - 26-12-2005 See that little icon in the traybar there? That green one? right click on that, select Control Panel, once in there select the LED tab and turn the light off ![]() Re: x52 owners.... - Drew - 26-12-2005 ah yeah, didnt know i could get to control panel that way, thats easier, instead of going to start control panel, game controllers, etc cheers Re: x52 owners.... - Drew - 26-12-2005 1 more q, im sure there will be many more the slider on the front of the throttle - what does anyone use it for? as i just cant think of a use for it??? Re: x52 owners.... - SWAFO - 26-12-2005 Those lights bothered me when I had the X52. Glad you got it taken care of. Re: x52 owners.... - Drew - 27-12-2005 ok i have a problem all works great. If i need to reboot, or switch off pc, when i start it up, the mfd does not work no more (it lights up but has no writing on it) and the only way i can get the writing back on it is install the drivers again ![]() ![]() Re: x52 owners.... - Drew - 27-12-2005 grrrr - updated drivers, MFD now works, but when i try to put a profile in, pc reboots ![]() ![]() edit - yet more drivers, and im up and running at least ![]() Post Edited ( 12-27-05 18:07 ) Re: x52 owners.... - Jetsim - 27-12-2005 I thaught if you go to settings on fs,go to controls and select disable joystick should do it ![]() ![]() http://www.vc10.com/ Re: x52 owners.... - SWAFO - 28-12-2005 One reason why you should stick with the older and more reliable X45! I don't remember the exact problems I had with the X52, but I know there was a reason I went back to the X45!!! |
