Terrible FPS with PSST7 - Fritz Bayerlein - 11-12-2005
I am coming here for help because the PSS dudes are FREAKING worthless and refuse to admit there is a serious problem with the FPS
in the T7.
Bottom line, I'm getting between 9-18FPS in the virtual cockpit and it fluctuates very much. Does anyone have any possible solutions?

Hmmm.... I have a
P4 2.4Ghz
1024 RAM
Radeon 9700 Pro
and their CV is great when it comes to FPS for me, so I don't think it's bound to their product, but something on yourside. Hence others don't
experience this fps hit.
Have you tried reinstalling it? latest drivers and all that? Reinstalled FS9?
PS, have you posted your problem in their support forums? I don't find your post if you did...

Except that i have the 6600gt the rest of the system is like mine and i don't have problems with the vc of the t7. There might be several reasons why
this happens, you can try to add (or remove if it's there already) the RenderAsTexture=0 line from your fs9.cfg. This single line increases or
decreases the fps depending on your specific system and settings. That is just one example, there are so many settings which might be of influence to
this.

There is a long post at the PSS forum for the Boeings regarding the T7's terrible FPS in the VC and PSS's response in so many words
was "kiss our asses, we don't care and we're not going to fix it." Alas, I'm asking here.
Does anyone else have some suggestions for making the FPS increase?

I still can't find this post you are taking about in the PSS T7 support forum. I found a few posts but none were big or recently updated. All though I
did find a few low FPS. But they were low FPS in all modes, 1-2 FPS no matter what, external view, internal or VC.
Could you post a link to the thread, I want to read it but can't find it using the search of PSS T7 support forum

Also, do you have the clip to ND function set in the settings? That will cripple your FPS. What do you have your refresh rates set as? Personally I
love the FPS I have seen in the PSS T7, no complaints at all,

Samiranks, wait till the patch comes out for the 777, then it will be a fine aircraft
(It is already but got some bugs)
