I started a new situation flying for Lufthansa, medium settings (70 mil), changed to euros..
anyway, began my career with an Airbus A319. Got a really good "deal" lol on a used one.
So my first flight I was distracted at the end (normally I make great approaches) and I landed rather hard.
I was informed by my ground crew that I wrecked the landing gear.
Cost me almost 300,000 euros to fix ! LOL..
Gotta pay attention

only 300,000?????? jeez, its gonna cost me 7,000,000 USD just to fix my landing gear on my 727-200 after I made a rather hard landing on grass, just
short of the runway. I stupidly idled my engines during approach (very bad idea).

300k is cheese! I had a normal random failure of one main gear on a 737, (the ole' smacker down and bounce it loose failure) , cost me
2.5 million to fix after I landed (all perfect, might I add, and on time too!)
