I'm thinking about buying th PMDG 747-400, but i'm wondering if i should wait for service update 1.03 comes out because there seems to be a lot of
fixes coming up.
So is it worth it to buy it now or are there so many bugs, that i should rather wait?

I would say buy, I bought it maybe a month ago and have had only minor problems ( 2 computer crashes) that I have since fixed. Either
way your going to be very happy.

Thanks, I think i will buy at the end of the month when i get money. I can always apply the service update when it comes out.
I'm curious, what kind of minor problems?

My issue was a paging file problem, I was and always have been letting XP regulate that. Well, with 744 when I came into heavily
populated airports IE.. KORD, KJFK etc... I would get the low on virtual memory box and then a quick crash right to the desktop. I had 1
gig of memory and I have never ever seen a crash right to the desktop. So, when I went in exloring stuff I saw that my Sata drive with all
my FS stuff on, the paging button was turned off, I turned it on and increased it a bit and that has changed my flightsim world. I have not
one problem since and it seems to have boosted the performace a bit.
PMDG had a different forum before they moved back to Avsim and there where some very good discussions about the problem. The bad
thing is I don't thing that info got moved to Avsim. I don't see anyone having problems like that anymore after adjusting the paging file
stuff inside XP. So minor details on my side, like I said you can't go wrong with it.

If I were you I would wait for the Holidays coming up in December, Like me I'am asking for the PMDG 747-400 for Christmas

That's not a bad idea, because I don't have the rank to fly a 747 yet anyway.
I think i'll buy 737ng & the add-on, & ask for the 747 for Christmas.

Dose anyone have any screenshots for the PMDG 747, and also any feedback? Just trying to see if i really wont it.
