Radios - ste9889 - 31-10-2005 Hey, ive noticed that some of you guys do 6/7/8 even 9 hour flights without time warp ![]() the radios yourself or is thier a proggy that does the radios for you when flying FS ATC IFR? All The Best Ste ![]() Re: Radios - SD_BFU - 31-10-2005 Of course you do the radios yourself ![]() There's a way, however............ When the ATC tells you to contact another controller, you confirm, tune, but don't contact. This way you're going as far as you want to your destination. Then you tune to current ATC (frequencies will be changing by itself), contact them. They will tell you to turn left or right a couple of times, you confirm but don't turn, and then they will instruct you to continue. This is a kind of cheating, though...... If you really like to do as real thing - gotta do as real thing. I know one guy - he is flying DC-3 w/o autopilot 3-4 hour flights in real weather. Good landings! Re: Radios - SWAFO - 31-10-2005 I always use the "co-pilot" feature of FSP for changing the radios. It works great! Re: Radios - poden - 31-10-2005 Funny, I usually just avoid the whole issue by cancelling IFR shortly after takeoff, and ignoring the radio until its time to descend. I'm only flying a turboprop plane though, so this is a little more believable. Re: Radios - ste9889 - 31-10-2005 Quote:SWAFO wrote: i never knew fsp could do this, how do get it to do this?
