I have FSP CD Boxes ready to depart to magazine for review & testing so I ask if you know good
magazine that review game and especially simulator add-ons...
Please can you also write the adress ? (or any info so I can send them the box?)

There's also PCPilot... I only know of those two (Computer Pilot and PC Pilot). I believe I heard that PC Pilot was doing a review either
this issue or next issue. I have yet to see it.

Very true, however at least where I live (Albuquerque, NM, USA); PCPilot is more expensive than Computer Pilot (one reason why I am
subscribed to Computer Pilot, and not PC Pilot). I only buy it when I absolutely need to have it (like if I see the FSP review in this month's
issue). Other than that, I think PC Pilot is actually of a lower quality in terms of writing and articles, and although the CD can sometimes
be a nice bonus, the stuff on it can usually be downloaded for FREE anyway! Just my 2 cents!

It's a shame that none of the 'big' PC games mags review flight sim addons really, i mean i recently bought PC Zone here in the UK and it was full of
Half Life 2 clones, months go by now without even seeing a sim of any descripition. Gone are the days when Microprose would release a different sim
every 5 weeks, i have very fond memories of Gunship 2000 on the Amiga.

I read online about simming. If I am reading actual paper, I read lots of books or my manuals for some of my payware aircraft.

Actually, it is odd that a lot of the larger PC game magazines don't focus at least a little more on flight simulators. I recall seeing the "TOP
20 GAMES" in terms of sales here in the US in one of the major PC game magazines a month or so ago. Guess what number 18 was?
That's right, FS9! Yet, flight simulators are a "hidden" genre in terms of these magazines. It's rare to even catch a review of any flight
sims in these magazines!
I can understand that the majority of PC gamers (or at least those that read the "magazines") don't play flight sims, and view them as
boring. However, don't sales speak for themselves? If FS9 is still in the top 20 retail games in the US, perhaps it should get a little more
attention/recognition!

I think ppl see flightsim as boring because they don't understand what we get out of it. They think it's just takeoff, fly somewhere and land,
if some of them actually tried to do it properly they'd find that far from boring it can be really satisfying to get an airliner safely down. And
with FSP thrown into the mix it suddenly becomes that much more important too. Throw a warzone in and things really get interesting,
c130 + warzone = Khe Sanh approach/leaky tanks/zero hydraulics and of course full of soldiers you suddenly have an excuse to pull out
Flashpoint or Battlefield 2 afterwards.
