Okay don't know if this will belong here but I'm asking - jboweruk - 29-07-2005

I've put this question out on the Flightsim.com Outer Marker as well in the hope of getting an answer or finding somebody who knows.

The Memphis Belle was as a most of us are aware a famous B17 (25 missions). The Memphis Belle IV is a B52H carrying the name
and therefore the legacy of that great aircraft. But what about the II and III, can someone tell me if there was a 2 and 3 and if so what they
were please? I'd be very greatful as I'm planning on flying the original and IV at KOSH in FS9 tonight, and would love to have all 4 in there
if that's possible.

Most commonly referred to as MB II seems to be this F105D:

Most references to MB III go to this F15:

Google turned up more references though, some to various Bxx-Bombers, one for MB II even another B17 in WW2.

Thanks Nem, I searched and searched but couldn't turn those up. At least I know it wouldn't be too far out to have all 4 "Belles" turn up at
KOSH. Regrettably I'm just missing the F105 Hunappy

John, it's the general FS2004 forum... So yes, your question can belong here!

Pagir

P.S. Thanks for those info. I didn't know about Memphis Belle II, III and IV... Always something to learn...
